In Memory of
Capt. Robert Follett
who died Aug. 21, 1780,
Æt. 45
Early engaged in the nautical profession,
Which he continued until called to the
service of his country in 1775, sustaining the
endearing & social duties of life, he was called
to leave friends & country & enter that bourn
>From whence no traveler returns.

He was a doctor as well, and a captain in the Revolutionary War. 22

"November 5, 1775 Col. Wingate made a report of the forces guarding the Piscataqua Harbor. The officers and the stations were as follows: 23. Robert Follett, Captain, 16 rank and file, at Kittery Point." 17

He was also the brother of Capt. John Follett.
