Sarah Kelly was born 03 Mar 1716 probably in Newbury, MA and died 07 May 1789 probably in Newburyport, MA, age 73. She was buried in Burial Hill in Newburyport. Samuel and Sarah had two children:

Samuel and Sarah were members of the West Parish Church, Newburyport. Sarah was descended from John Kelly who came to Newbury in 1635 and was described as a woman of amiable disposition. It is said she brought up the son of her first husband. After Samuel Mulliken's death, Sarah (Kelly) Mulliken married (2) Capt. Timothy Pike, 08 Aug 1757 in Newbury.

Jonathan Mulliken, born 1746 in Newbury, Essex Co., MA He was baptized 07 Sep 1746 and died intestate 19 Jun 1782 in Newburyport. He was buried next to his father (Samuel) in Newburyport Hill Cemetery. Jonathan was a clockmaker. He married Susannah Pearson circa 1768 and they were parents of three children: Samuel, Michael and Nathaniel.
