A genealogy link for Percival Lowell. A short biography of Percival Lowell from Our Newbury Ancestors. Percival arrived in the ship "Jonathan" with wife Rebecca, his sons John and Richard with their wives and 4 children, his daughter Joanna and her husband John Oliver, his partner William Gerrish, his clerk Anthony Somerby, with his brother Henry, and Richard Dole apprenticed to John Lowle 16 in all plus 2 not in passenger list. It was a voyage of 9 weeks and not a jolly crossing as the wife of Thomas Blanchard died and there was sickness aboard. As a person of means the Lowles were not granted free land Percival Lowle "Gent", as he is styled in the records paid 50pounds in the common stock and received in return 100 acres of marsh and meadow and bought more later.
