The Hon. Daniel Kilham was born 15 January 1753 in Wenham, son of Daniel Kilham and Hannah Dodge. Never married, graduated Harvard College, studied medicine and was an apothecary. Member both branches of Massachusetts legislature. Known for his knowledge on fruit trees, which he grew. Died 12 October 1841 at the age of 88 in his garden. This gentleman had a distinguished career in politics and noted as a champion of the rights for the average no land owning man's right to vote. There are several interesting books with sections devoted to his famous debates.
