widow of the late
Capt. Joshua L. Huntress,
died April 17, 1847,
aged 98 years.
A good name is better than precious ointments and the
day of death, than the day of ones birth.

Joshua Lang Huntress was the Master of Arms on the Ranger, which was a ship commanded by John Paul Jones, the father of the Navy.
