In memory of
Mrs. Mary Hamilton
The amiable & arduous conƒort of
Jonathan Hamilton Junr Esq.r
who departed this life
Novr 23d 1800
Aged 51 Years.
She was endeared to her friends and acquaintances,
By those virtues which adorn ??? Nature
And ƒecure eƒteem and affection
A prudent, dutiful & affectionate wife
A peculiarly kind & tender Mother
A pleasing companion,
A faithful friend
A compaƒƒionate benefactreƒs
Afflicted and distreƒƒed
Often called the widows to ƒing for joy.
But alas ƒhe is no more.
Her frail body ƒleeps in the duƒt
The ƒpirrit has returned to its God We Truƒt
To be ever with the Lord.
