With a mind open, honeƒt & generous
With a heart alive to humanity &
compaƒion. He ƒerv'd for many years
in various ƒtations, private, publick &
honourable, his friends, his neighbours
& his Country, with ƒuch integrity, zeal
& diligence, as merited an extenƒive
approbation, and render'd his death
juƒtly regreted.
Here mix'd with earth his aƒhes muƒt remain
Till death ƒhall die & mortals riƒe again.
