Cook, Elias. Private, Capt. Stephen Kent's co.; enlisted July 13, 1775; discharged Dec. 9, 1775; service, 5 mos. 7 days, at Newbury in defence of seacoast; also, same co.; orders for wages for service on seacoast in Essex Co. dated Gloucester, Dec. 4, 1775, and Watertown, Dec. 15, 1775. 2

Cook, Elias. Private, Capt. Richard Titcomb's co., Col. Nathaniel Wade's (Essex Co.) regt.; enlisted July 4, 1780; discharged Oct. 10, 1780; service, 3 mos. 20 days, travel included; company raised in Newburyport, Salisbury and Amesbury, to reinforce Continental Army for 3 months. 2
