Cemetery Status: Excellent. The grounds are well kept, and attempts have been made to restore most of the broken stones. The marble used here for many of the stones is high quality and hasn't deteriorated like you usually see.

Capt. Samuel Robinson d. 1826, first settler of Bennington, VT when on his return to Massachusetts from one of his 3 campaigns in the French and Indian War he passed by accident and was attracted by the country and determined to settle there.
